Pride Month is here and you know what that means: It’s time to list down the best LGBTQ marketing campaigns out there.
But let’s be real for a second, Pride Month 2025 was quite a rollercoaster for LGBTQ campaigns. Some brands really step up their game while others have quietly stepped back.
But let’s talk about the ones that got it right. These are the ones that didn’t just slap a rainbow on their logo and called it a day.
From creative storytelling to genuine community support, these best LGBTQ ads of 2025 really stood out. So, let’s get started! 🏳️🌈
Rainbow capitalism vs real representation
Before we start listing the top LGBTQ marketing campaigns of the year, let’s take a moment to talk about something you’ve probably heard before: rainbow capitalism. It’s a term that gets tossed around a lot, especially during Pride Month.
Understanding what rainbow capitalism really helps put these queer marketing campaigns into perspective, and shows why the ones we picked actually stand out.

A quick background on rainbow capitalism
According to Sage, rainbow capitalism refers to a trend in marketing and corporate public relations whereby brands use the symbols and language of LGBTQIA+ community to establish a positive public image. Rainbow capitalism is also sometimes called “pink capitalism”, “queer capitalism” or “gay capitalism”.
Think of it this way: it’s when companies jump on the Pride bandwagon not because they genuinely care about the LGBTQ+ rights, but because they see the dollar signs they can get from it. These companies claim to support the community’s causes but in reality, they’re just making merchandise for profit and capitalize on the trend.
Have you ever noticed how some companies switch their profile pictures to a rainbow logo on June 1st, then disappear for the rest of the year? That’s rainbow capitalism in action.

Why authentic queer marketing campaigns matter
Now you might be thinking, “Does it even matter? It’s still representation!” Honestly, a BIG yes! Real representation matters because it shows that the community is seen, valued, and supported year-round.
We’re talking about real people with real struggles here. So authentic LGBTQ marketing campaigns should reflect genuine company values, support for queer employees, and contribution to the causes that make real difference.
Things you should look to consider in a campaign to be truly queer-inclusive
Pride Month is packed with marketing campaigns, and it’s easy to get caught with these LGBTQ advertising trends with their flashy messages. That’s why we put together a quick checklist to help you spot what real, authentic support actually looks like.
Of course, there might be a few things we didn’t cover so feel free to add your own to the list!

- Year-round commitment: Does the company support LGBTQ+ causes outside of Pride month? Authentic brands don’t just dip and disappear after June ends.
- Internal policies: Are their workplace policies actually inclusive? Do they offer benefits for same-sex partners? Is their leadership and membership diverse?
- Community involvement: Do they work with LGBTQ+ organizations, hire queer creators, or support grassroots movements?
- Employee representation: Do they actually employ LGBTQ+ people in meaningful roles, not just for tokenism?
- Walking the talk: Do they speak up about real issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community?
Queer marketing, without the rainbow washing.

Top 5 LGBTQ marketing campaigns of 2025
Authentic representation really does matter, and these marketing campaigns nailed it. Here are some of the most powerful and inclusive campaigns out there!
Glaad’s “One Story. One Future”

First on our list is a campaign from one of the leading non-profit organizations dedicated to LGBTQ+ advocacy and cultural change—GLAAD. Since its founding in 1985, the organization has been at the forefront of pushing for equality and better representation.
For Pride Month 2025, they launched “One Story. One Future.” It’s a powerful, inclusive campaign that emphasizes how every LGBTQ+ person has a unique story, but we’re all connected in the ongoing fight for love, freedom, and equality.
But the campaign goes beyond just messaging. Through the GLAAD Media Institute (GMI), their training, research, and consulting division, they’ve launched new initiatives. Some of these include:
- The Communities of Color Department, which highlights stories and representation of Black LGBTQ+ people and other queer communities of color in media and entertainment.
- The Black List, a curated collection of promising unproduced LGBTQ-inclusive film scripts.
- The Equity in Media and Entertainment Initiative (EMEI), a three-year program supporting Black LGBTQ+ creatives across various artistic disciplines.
GLAAD also runs community-focused campaigns that tackle real social issues. For example:
- “Here We Are” is a storytelling campaign aimed at persuadable voters, focusing on humanizing the trans community through real experiences.
- “Protect This Kid” flips harmful anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric by emphasizing the need to protect the most vulnerable children, especially LGBTQ+ youth.
GLAAD’s Pride 2025 efforts show what authentic Pride campaigns should look like: authentic stories, actionable programs, and a bold push toward lasting change.
Sidaction’s campaign about living “without” HIV

Next on our list of standout queer marketing campaigns comes from France. In partnership with The Good Company, Sidaction launched a powerful new fundraising campaign that brings the theme of living “without” HIV.
The sad reality is that despite decades of research showing that HIV is no longer a death sentence, the stigma surrounding it is still very real. Many people still believe that an HIV diagnosis means the end of everything, and HIV and AIDS are exclusive to members of the LGBTQ+ community. These are exactly the misconceptions this campaign aims to break.
This campaign stresses that living one’s life with HIV is possible today, and with continued support for research and awareness, one day we may live without it altogether.
To bring this message to life, the campaign features a striking 45-second short film directed by Yvan Attal. The video is driven by strong, symbolic music composed and performed by Arnaud Gavini, a talented drummer and producer. This short video adds a powerful emotional layer to the campaign.
Hinge’s “No Ordinary Love”

One of the most well-known queer-inclusive dating platforms, Hinge, is back with a standout Pride campaign this year that celebrates unique and real queer love stories. Their goal is to tell stories about genuine connections formed through online dating. “No Ordinary Love” brings these stories to life by partnering with contemporary queer writers.
One featured story follows the non-binary couple Aissata and Juno, beautifully retold by author Tomasz Jedrowski. For Jedrowski, sharing stories like theirs is both a privilege and a deep responsibility. He emphasizes how important it is to see queer joy in dating which is something that’s still underrepresented in mainstream culture. Campaigns like this are a reminder that queer love is real, thriving, and worthy of celebration.
Overall, Hinge’s campaign invites audiences into the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ folks. It captures the vulnerability, joy, and authenticity of queer relationships in today’s digital world.
Levi’s “Meet Me In The Park”
Levi’s is one of the LGBTQ+ community’s oldest and most loyal allies. For over two decades, they’ve built a reputation for standing up for inclusion, from offering equal employee benefits to publicly supporting same-sex marriage way back in 2007.
This Pride Month 2025, they’re continuing that legacy by focusing on something that really matters: creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ folks everywhere. Their new Pride collection draws inspiration from powerful queer liberation imagery and pays tribute to San Francisco, a city often seen as the heart of LGBTQIA+ history and culture, and also Levi’s own hometown.
Levi’s is also making an impact. As part of the campaign, Levi’s is making their annual donation of $100,000 to Outright International, a global organization fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights around the world.
Levi’s campaign is more than just a collection—it’s a statement. One that says: we see you, we support you, and we’ve got your back.
NYC’s Health Department’s Sexual Awareness Campaign
Wrapping up our list is a New York City-based campaign. The NYC Health Department recently launched a citywide public awareness campaign to let everyone know that low-to-no-cost sexual and reproductive health services are available at the city’s Sexual Health Clinics.

With messages in both English and Spanish, the campaign makes it clear that these services are for all New Yorkers no matter your income, immigration status, language, sexual orientation, or gender identity. It’s all about making sure everyone feels empowered when it comes to their sexual and overall health.
These clinics offer confidential care for anyone 12 and older, whether or not you have health insurance or legal documentation. Here are some of the services they provide:
- STI prevention (including DoxyPEP and vaccines)
- STI screening, testing, and treatment
- HIV testing and getting started on treatment
- HIV PEP (post-exposure) and PrEP (pre-exposure)
- Emergency contraception
- Birth control options like IUDs and implants
- Medication abortion
- Vaccinations for HPV, Hep A & B, mpox, and meningitis
So, if you’re in NYC, these clinics are a safe, welcoming space to get the care you need with zero judgment and without breaking the bank.
Make authentic Pride campaigns for your business
Part of building a strong business is knowing what you stand for both personally and professionally. That means setting clear principles and values that guide everything you do. When people sense that your brand is genuine and true to its purpose, they’re much more likely to connect with it and support it.
If you want to create standout campaigns like the ones we’ve shared, you don’t have to start big. There are plenty of free online tools out there that can help simplify the marketing side of things whether it’s designing graphics, scheduling content, or tracking engagement.

But tools aside, the real magic happens when you create a marketing plan that reflects who you are and what your brand genuinely believes in.
Great branding doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, intention, and planning. That includes setting clear goals, showing up consistently on social media, and using platforms that help you reach and engage your audience in a meaningful way..
And it’s not just about the campaigns you put out but it’s also about what happens inside your business. True change starts within. That might mean celebrating Pride Month in a way that goes beyond rainbow logos, offering awareness training, or creating a workplace culture where everyone feels welcome and valued.
When you commit to these kinds of initiatives, your business takes a real step toward becoming not just more inclusive, but more authentic.
