As an SEO project manager at Marketing by Rocio, I juggle multiple roles. Every SEO-optimized article written for the HER blog must resonate with HER’s diverse and vibrant audience, primarily comprising queer women, nonbinary individuals, trans, and gender non-conforming people. These individuals seek content that is informative, empowering, reflective of their experiences, and supportive of their journeys. My goal is to ensure this comes across in all the content I write.
For this role, my responsibilities as an SEO copywriter include:
🏳️🌈 Creating Search Engine Optimized Content: Crafting articles that are engaging and align with HER’s brand voice, while also being optimized for search engines. This involves keyword research, understanding SEO best practices, and writing content that ranks well on search engine results pages.
🏳️⚧️ Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Working with marketing and content teams to ensure content alignment with broader campaigns and company objectives.
🏳️🌈 Meeting Tight Deadlines: Efficiently managing time and resources to meet publication deadlines, usually within one week of assignment. This includes planning, drafting, revising, and finalizing content within a specified timeframe, showcasing strong organizational and time-management skills.
